- Traditional design
- Robust hardwood handle
- Forged Sheffield steel blade
Traditional asparagus knife for cutting spears cleanly below soil level.
This beautiful tool is made from top-quality solid forged Sheffield steel for maximum sharpness, durability and edge retention.
A replica of the traditional Fenland design, it has a special sickle-shaped 25cm (10") serrated blade and an oiled hardwood handle that fits snugly into your palm. The sharp blade provides a crisp clean cut, limiting damage to the crown and encouraging healthy regrowth.
As well as harvesting those precious spears, the knife can also be used for dividing over-large clumps of perennials, or cutting through the tough rhizomes of an over-zealous bamboo.
Total length 40cm (16").
Please note: it is an offence to sell knives and other cutting tools to persons under the age of 18 years.
